KM Neuhold has dived into the darker side of mm romance, and it just works. She keeps her humor and spice that we have all come to know and love from her just with darker notes. This is not your typical dark romance, and it just works for this world. You feel the passion and fire of Xav and Sparrow from their first real interaction! As their relationship builds, you just want the best for them even when that means bloodshed on the horizon. Love that their dynamic is not what you expect, and that makes the story all the better. I can't wait to see more from this world and how far KM is willing to take this.
