My review

Myles (trans male) spends his time at writing his next great alien smut romance, whereas Avery (bigender) spends his/her time at Randys after fun nights dancing at the local club. When Myles seeks a roommate to help pay the bills, he doesn't expect the club cutie to show up on his door. These two are so dang adorable that you can not help but want to squish them. Both just accept the other as they are and make them more comfortable being their true selves. What to expect from a kat McIntyre book a kink added in for funsies and oh boy does she deliver on this one.

Thanks Kat now everytime I see a squirell, I cackle, so there's that fun now.

This is book one of all the inclusive trans series, and what a way to start it was. Cannot wait to see what pairings come from this universe.

Book overview

An adorkable author and an outgoing club kid as roommates only results in one thing—shenanigans! And of course, love.

Myles

The last person I expect to answer my roommate wanted ad is the hottie from the diner I’ve been pining over. Avery’s social, flirty, and pretty much my polar opposite. Most of my days revolve around making aliens boink, however, scifi erotica novelist is a far cry from the journalist job my parents think I have. I like being invisible, and this new roommate sitch is about to shake all that anonymity up.

Avery

My new roommate is so damn gorgeous. Not only is he funny and easy to talk to, but he sees me—better than anyone else in my life. And with the way my family’s ignoring my latest endeavor, the wellness fair my acupuncture practice is running, I’m lapping up every second of Myles’s attention.

Sleeping with Myles is a bad idea. I don’t need the complication, especially with the guy renting me my room. However, the more I learn about him, the harder he becomes to resist, until we’re on a collision course that neither of us want to control…but will wreck us if it ends.

Love beyond the binary, serving up low angst trans romances at Randy's Diner

Written at Randy’s is a low angst M/X roommates to lovers romance between a reclusive trans male author and a life of the party bigender club kid that reads as a standalone.

My review What i have been enjoying so much of the Cauldrons and Kisses collaboration is that each story has that right balance of fluff...
